Friday July 8 is National Classic Car Appreciation Day. Take your classic, collectible or entusiast car out and show it off. There are many reasons to do this and the first is to enjoy the car and have a fun day. It is also important to show just how strong our community is. If we flood the streets with our hobby cars, then lawmakers will think twice before doing something that negatively impacts such a large group of voters and consumers.

Cheers Ron

I plan to take my Fiat to work.

I always walk to work but today took my Fiat and ran some errands. The old cars are out on the town today. I passed a 57 chevy and stopped at new owner of a Fiat to see how his restoration is progressing. He owns a small cafe and there were three car enthusiasts there for breakfast in an original Camaro and Z-? BMW. I am surprised that CMS did not push this idea of an appreciation day more. Did I miss something? Cheers Ron

I didn't get the memo either, but as a rule, I drive one of my classics to work each and every Friday. I took the X1/9 today. Stay tuned for a very big milestone on her....almost there.

Sorry, guys, but thunder, lightning, and heavy rain provided the entertainment for we commuters south of Boston this morning. Just rain on the way home, though. So the Tiger stayed in the garage. It's no fun in the rain, and isn't exactly leakproof.
