As a birthday gift, I am looking to rent a classic car (say 1950s Chevy, Cadillac, etc.) or some sort of driving experience/ride along. Does anyone know of such a thing in the Philadelphia, PA area? Thanks.

Imagine Lifestyles has an office just outside Philly and you can rent an AC Cobra and a few classics and exotics from them. In the process of setting up a rental from then myself.
http://www.imaginelifestyles.com/exotic-car-rental/philadelphia-vintage-rental-cars They list a Porsche 550 Spyder ($599/day), a 427 Cobra ($599/day) and a 1968 Shelby GT500 ($999/day!) I wonder if the Porsche and Cobra are real ones or replicars - considering they rent for much less than the Shelby does, even though real examples would be worth much more.
Thanks guys.Sorry for the delay. I am aware of Imagine Lifestyles. I have used them in the past as well. And I had called them actually before posting this to see if they had any non-sports classic cars but didn't hear back. I'll give them a buzz again.
We rented classic sports cars in England, as part of a tour we did a while back. It was a very cool experience.
It's far from Philly and definitely is not about classic American cars, but one the most fun car things I have ever done is the Rally for the Lane, offered twice annually as a fundraiser for the Lane Museum in Nashville. You get to drive one of the cars from their collection on a day long gimmick rally in the hilly backroads of the region. Check it out: http://www.lanemotormuseum.org/events/rally-for-the-lane
