I have a BMW 325i 1989 i am in the process of changing my valve head and one of the dowels fond the way of getting into one of the oil hole of the block (image attached)
I'm not sure how to get it out, and I'm wondering if the pice it's going to find its way down to the oil pan or if it's possible that it gets stuck somewhere
Thank you

I can't see the dowel :/ appreciate it
Turn the block upside down and shake it out like a guitar pic?
I'd say you could drop the oil pan to check, but it looks like the engine is in the car, so that means disconnecting the steering shaft and dropping the front subframe, so.....
You might need to set aside a weekend, is what I'm saying.
