Bob Tullius (founder of Group 44 Racing) has moved to nearby Port Orange. At 86, he is doing quite well, and just quit flying planes earlier this year.
I am working on a comparison story of his Group 44 GT6 and Kas Kastner’s competing GT6. I drove both cars recently and also spent and hour on the phone with Kas the other day. I think you guys will really like this story, if I can boil two very interesting lifetimes into just one story.

Yes bring it.....for some reason I thought Bob T had passed, but obviously not.
I think that story would be a great tribute to both and a significant historical reference for many.
Thanks. Unfortunately there is so much story here, I need to get it right.
Coming from a long time Triumph afficianado, Bob Tullius is the man.

I didn't know him in the day, but have gotten to know him pretty well in the last ten years. He has the reputation of having been a tyrant. He has mellowed with age, but his attention to detail is still spot on. He turned 86 this year and just quite flying on his own earlier this year.

I don't think we'd mind making it two stories actually.
OK, let me see what I get when I finish putting it all together.
In reply to Tim Suddard:
I've never heard he was a tyrant, but I don't find that surprising. Many successful people are. Did he sell his Mustang (I mean the real Mustang).
I always dug that 66 Dart he raced at the beginning of Trans-Am.
He donated his P51 Mustang to a museum in England.
