I posted this on GRM and was told that you all would probably have some more insight in helping me determine this car's value.
This is my uncle's car, it's been sitting in the garage so long he can't remember the last time he started or drove it, and he's finally ready to get rid of it.
Here are the details:
1963 Austin Healey 3000 MKII
Series BJ7
Purchased in 1969 and has been garage kept since purchase. About 13,000 miles and has been garage storage for 32 years (as in, it hasn't seen the sun in 32 years).

Any guesses as to it's value?
Thanks in advance!
Without giving it a second thought, I'd list it at $32,000.00. This is assuming that the underside is relatively free of rust and collision damage, and that the interior is more or less intact.

If you can get the VIN and sign on to the BJ7/BJ8 registery, Steve Byers should be able to give you much more factual information than my "shooting from the hip" recommendation.
Of course if I was in the market for it (to join my '57 100/6 2-seater) I'd offer you a whopping $8k for it, as is ;) ;)
Good luck with the sale, not that you'll have any trouble, as Healeys are always in demand, if the money's right.
See if motor turns over by hand after a soak of 24 hrs in the cylinders with some MMo . If the price is 32 k list on an auction site at 32 k and let the bidding up begin . Nice deal . Me I would try to pay my unkle off . With cash , doing his lawn getting him a cold beer when he needed it , of course get the deal in writing first . My guess is a quick $18 k

I passed on your contact info, Andy, thanks! ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/grin-18.png)
I will chime in since I had not heard from the owner. I would need to know for sure there is no rust in the car. Also any Healey is worth more restored as they are difficult to restore well, meaning expensive. If this car is honestly rust free and runs, I would venture that it would be worth about $30,000 and tat would be a nice all original completely rust free car with decent original finish or older repaint in good condition.

It's an older model but still looks like new, i think it's range is $18k to $20k.
