It's been 20 years since I did any fiberglass repairs or prep for painting on a fiberglass car. School me on the latest greatest prep, soda blasting, stress crack repair, primer, paint, etc. I'm sure a lot of the tried and true repair techniques haven't changed much, but I may be wrong.
I'm asking because my '64 Elan is one big stress crack with ugly flared fenders. Plans are to start next Winter by adding 26R fenders, and starting repairs to various areas that have stress cracks. I will take the body off the frame eventually, but will start with repairs I can make, and still drive the car.
