Hey folks, I'm a corvair nut and have been looking for a Vintage race ready corvair or one that is close to it for a few years. I think I found one in Southern Utah, but I live in CT. As you can imagine, there are not that many corvairs out there prepped for vintage racing (maybe 10 cars at most). I was at the 09 Mitty event helping crew for a Yenko Stinger and that event really got my adrenaline flowing. The current owner of the corvair I'm looking at does not own a computer/digital camera/video camera. He took some pics with a camera and sent the pics with Fed Ex. The pics peaked my interest even more but I need specific pics and to talk to someone who is looking at the car who does not own the car or have a vested interest in it. I'm hoping someone out there lives close to Southern, Utah and can take some pics and or video and email them to me!!!!! If your interested please contact me at: Baston8005@charter.net

Thanks

Bryce A.

Good luck with your quest. That's a tough one when the seller does not have any of the "modern" conveniences to aid in the sale. I am going to take a wild guess and say the seller is slightly on the "mature" side. Oh by the way I am in Michigan. No help what so ever.

In reply to cyncrvr: Yes you are correct!!!!! To spend what I am thinking of spending on the car and not to see it in person is asking for problems. I've seen enough flexible flyers that need "tlc" to know better. LOL Worse comes to worse, I'll hop on a plane and spend the $600 for a round trip flight to Utah. Arggghhhhhh

Being familiar with the area, I'd suggest flying to Las Vegas, Nevada and renting a car. It's 137 miles from LV to StG. And I'll guess it's cheaper to fly to Vegas than Salt Lake City if you shop some of the casino deals....

Just my 2 cents.

Just for grins I checked Southwest out of Logan/Boston. Going into Vegas pays for the rental. BUT!-Salt Lake to StG is a prettier drive...
