Just got the January issue in the mail and I absolutely love the new cover. That thicker paper with the matte finish really makes it seem... I don't know... Classy. It also seems like it's a different size, too, but I don't have another issue within reach to compare.

And, yes, the trim size is a little bigger, too.
It was very noticeable.
My first impression was sort of "hey, this looks like it belongs in a doctors office"
I suspect that is what you where going for.
It was time for a facelift. Glad to hear that people are noticing (and appreciating) the updates. I have one right beside me and, yeah, it does look upscale. (Figure I saw the cover on my screen a month or so ago.)
