I've got a Lotus project that requires I use an MGB driveshaft, the one with the flanges on either end and a sliding spline near the front. I picked up a decent looking used one I found in the back of an MGBGT, on the floor. My question is: how much rotational play should be in the sliding splines? I'm measuring .010 - .015, as best as I can measure with a dial indicator. Too much? Just right?
