These cars in East TN appear to have been driven/hauled to this spot then forgotten about. As far as we can tell, nobody has touched these cars since the 70s. All of them were complete and appeared to have been drivable when they were left. In all, there were about 40+ cars here before my friend Lance with Eccentric Auto started hauling them away. If you see anything you like, they are all for sale. I can get Lance's number to you if you are serious.
Enjoy...
This is what they were pulling them out of the woods with. Really cool!
Brett, why didn't you add the rest of them to "Ran When Parked"?
It only allows me to add one at a time. Is there an easy way to add more all at once?
Brett
No.... it really is a one at a time thing (albeit pretty simple). Let me see if I can think up a way to add more than one at a time without hiking the complexity through the roof.
Anglias...cool. I have two in a junkyard by me also.
The Ranchero may be worth trying to sell. Another guy I know (just had dinner with him last night) has a '57 Ford like the one in the bottom photo. Parts for those do very well on Ebay, from what he was telling me. It's funny that people always think the Mustangs are valuable, but you can mail order an entire car now, so parts aren't worth much unless it's some oddball car with rare options.

I just shot a barn find Sunbeam Alpine GT...JG, can I send it to you (and how?). I fear it may not be high enough resolution tho'.
That pic of the Spitfire's back end looked like the front end of a 914 for like a split second.
Quite a collection.
And if anyone wants to officially submit some Ran When Parked photos to the magazine, e-mail them my way. (By the way, I'm on the road right now, so please wait until Friday before doing so--thanks.)

And the email address would be? Can't attach to the system this board uses and couldn't find direct email addresses on the site (more work for Baxter).
There's no direct email addresses to combat spam. A way to put an attachment on the contact form is a good idea, though. Have to look into that. Anyway, David's email is easy: david @ you know the rest.
Also, if you post them to "Ran When Parked" we can pull the original pix instead of the resized ones.
