This time next week I go from a 10x20 to a 18x20 garage. (Dance of joy)

I don't know what I'm going to do with all that extra space!

Yes I do.

Park only cars in there. Finally my GT6 and FIAT Racer will have a proper home.

BUT... Before all this can happen I have a lot of work to do.

I need to buy a 10x8 shed to host all the other stuff. (Lawn mower, snow blower, bikes and toys.) None of that kit will be allowed in the garage.

I even will have the older 4x6 shed to store spare wheels, trannys, diffs and any other parts that can handle the colder weather.

The new garage still has two unfinished walls. Before I do the insulations, vapour barrier and dry wall I'll add some new power for the heater, lights and compressor.

I'm really going to focus on cabinet, bench and tool chest locations this time.

I can't wait to jazz it all up.

Its actually hard to look at the empty photo. The garage has been stripped of her glory. I mean that garage saw the birth of my GT6 and the FIAT racer.

I'm with you. I just ordered a new shed (12' X 16') to be dropped in by backyard. I picked up my town permit yesterday.

I'll store my lawn mower, snow blower, weed wacker and all that sort of crap in this shed. I'll also jam tires, spare fenders and so forth in it.

Our new house has a two car garage plus a semi-detached third garage.....coming from the old, tiny space in our old house (where I built three race cars) this is amazing to me. But I don't want to waste an inch of it. It's for cars only.

You're right: good cabinets and storage are "key".

Tres kewl.

Once nice aspect for the new garage is the majority of the fab work has been done to the cars.

Really the FIAT will only see minor upgrades and improvements.

Right now, the ~race Spridget~ lives in our 3rd garage.

And the ~A-35~, which is in mid-build, is still at our old house (now officially called our "summer house", since we haven't been able to sell it )

In the Fall, the Spridget will be jammed in behind one of the white cars and the A35 will be brought over to the 3rd garage to be finished up.

You got a flow chart for that plan :)

I just can't wait to have my cars home.

The GT6 has not been in my garage since Oct 2009!

You'll need to log in to post.
