The event was in Newport, RI on Sunday, May 23. Here are a few pictures. Incidentally, the Hot Rod Lincoln with the Caddie V16 engine is spectacular. It's an original California car built in the forties and left in original patina. Sounded awesome!

I love those Mercedes!
I've seen that MG-TD (#62) race. Like all TDs, a wonderful car. Lovely ALFA behind it too.
The silver #4 is a very famous Allard with an Ardun-Ford engine. Zora Arkus-Duntov did that particular car.
The silver-blue car is an Arnolt Bristol with the neat, BMW-designed engine that was part of the WW II reparations to the Allies.
I've seen that Bentley before too. I think the owners have TWO of those. 
The Ferrari is nice but the Airline Coupe' behind it is nicer (to my eyes).
Great looking Magnette! The BEST colour for those!
I am definitely going to this event next year.

If you plan on coming up to Newport next year, let us know. The staff gave me some good tips for my first trip to Amelia Island this year and would like to do the same. If you haven't been to this area before I'm sure you will find a lot to see.
