I've seen presidential packages added to new cars as a solution to roof damage at dealers where I was employed. Life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Cheaper than a paint job and you can bump the price. I was given the impression that that is a common solution.

what about the people that have the top down, windows up, and AC cranked?
If they're stuck at a stoplight with a "rolling smoke" truck or car next to them, I can understand. Not that it helps. I just cough a lot and go on when the light changes.
As a somewhat diesel enthusiast, I cannot stand these kids that think "rolling coal" is cool. I suppose the real problem is 2 fold. No more power is gained and of course it simply pisses people off.
Sorry Rupert, the correct term for instant rich in the truck community is "rolling coal" LOL at least in the hills of West Virginia.

Leo,
I agree and "rolling coal" is the correct term.
I don't live near coal fields these days. But I do see a lot of kids of various ages wasting fuel and contaminating their lube oil with diesel fuel way too rich or pumps out of time. Perhaps if they roll a bearing or two or score a liner or two because their lube oil is diluted, they will learn their lesson. Perhaps not.
