The second Arizona Sunbeam gathering at Phoenix International Raceway was a blast. From Tucson we had Dave (and The Sprout) with Lou as Navigator and Videographer, and Rex with his Series 3. From Phoenix came Robert and his Black Cherry Alpine and Richard with his multiple award winning MkII Tiger, and I, with my V6 Alpine. Jim made it in time for Pizza.
We had 100% participation for track time. It was cool to have all five cars in line going thru the pits on the way to the start line. We got some nice comments from track officials and people in the pits. What I thought was a handling/vibration issue turned out to be Jim calling me on my cel which was on vibrate. (embarrassed blush)
We do this twice a year, spring and fall, with the Vintage Races. We're already making plans for the Spring event. If you plan to be in the area, come join us.
