The car clearly had nothing to do with the movie, but they are honest about that. I am sure Reynolds had no intention to keep the car.
That said, I hope he gets big money for it. It sucks he is in the position he is in. His name is on the title, so that should help a lot.
I kind of hope he doesn't do it again for the same effect, that would suck for the buyer of this one. Maybe he should restore a semi with that mural on it and some of the cop cars so someone can have the full play set.

We had a long conversation /thread about this on the GRM board several months ago. I thought it had been sold off a while ago, unless it's now for re-sale. Wasn't the general consensus that he was asking too much for a car that wasn't actually in the film to bail himself out of money troubles again?
