Just watched it...the one with Adam Corolla. Not a bad show. A little ig-nant on rotary(Wankle) engines, but they managed not to destroy any cars!
Better than Top Gear US for sure.
Whats eveybodys 2 cents?

I've watched a couple episodes and like it. Much better then the poor US Top Gear version that's been DOA from the start.

I don't know if I consider it better than US Top Gear... just different. It is just as scripted, in some way even more so. I did enjoy the bit in the last episode when Corolla races one of his vintage Datsuns, but you could tell many of the in-car shots were scripted and taped long after the race was over. Regardless, he is definitely an enthusiast on a different level than even the UK Top Gear hosts, so I can respect him for that.
I've watched several episodes of both. TGUSA was very lame at first, mostly due to the hosts being uncomfortable and wooden. They have progressed, though, and each episode seems a bit better and I find myself laughing more. They certainly have some great production values that seem to come straight out of the TGUK handbook and budget. The chemistry just isn't quite there, though they make up for some of it by getting out of the studio and doing crazy, fun stuff.
The Car Show has been bad from the start and only has gotten worse. Carolla is irritating and his sophmoric humor tends to drive the females out of the room. My wife is a car gal (she likes both TG's, although UK over USA by a long shot) but she couldn't take Carolla for more than one episode. He is like fingernails on a chalk board to me, too.
The Car Show's worst attribute is the one they use most-- sitting around and talking about cars. Smalley was uninformed and useful only as Carolla's laugh track (he has since been axed). The other three aren't glib enough to make the yakity yak stuff work, so they need to get out more. Agree that the vintage racing segment, for example, was some of their best stuff (but we're biased, aren't we :)).
The Car Show has been cut to half an hour, with the talky stuff dominating and no more Smalley. I don't think it will last much longer.
