Gotta have some fun. Specially when you have a vast imagery library.
This week Dec 5-9th, but in the past
2009 - The FIAT was getting setup for the new race seat.
2008 - GT6 was getting its seasonal messy oil change
2005 - GT6 early MK1 engine build up.
2003 - Assessing a friend's GT6 MK3.

Picked up a spitfire this week from friend this week 2011
This week also fired an old friend up and drove down to get gas Stag fire up first in couple years

Starting work on the 2002's brake system---running new stainless hard lines.
Gotta fix the Mazda's exhaust tonight.
Bracket let go. Gotta love the fact I own a mig.

Funny you should say that, Andre... The exhaust on the TDi let go awhile ago... I was thinking of using this as an excuse for a FSP build by going with an aftermarket high-flow down pipe... but now I'm considering doing a 180 and buying a welder instead and trying to fix the existing pipe. $400+ for a new DP w/ cat vs. ~$500 for an Eastwood spool-gun MIG set-up... (knowing I'll have to spend more on gas and sundries)

Hmm...
I'm going to make a guess that the Mazda is new enough that the exhaust is low-grade stainless like the TDi? Are you planning to use stainless MIG wire?
Mazda is an 03.
I know the muffler is SS, but not sure about the pipe.
It was dark last night when I was looking. I'll know more tonight.

It's probably stainless, but a lower grade so that after 8 Canadian winters, it doesn't look like it anymore and was probably never all that shiny to begin with. Granted, a mild steel system would have lasted 1/3 as long, so one can't complain too much.
Ditto. Its done way better then the Calvalier system ever did.
And the break is where the mount on the muffler ties back into the pipe.
Not a huge spot. I should be able to get it back together.
Photos when I get home :)
If it hand hold out the winter I'd be happy.
Fixed the exhaust.
Bracket and some points around the muffler to pipe area.
Went well only took an hour, but it was damn cold.
No photos sorry.
Love my mig.
