Now that we did this video, I’m seeing those Challengers everywhere.

I am on my third Challenger of this generation.  This time it is a ScatPack.  Everything David said about these cars is true.  Big, comfortable, fast and fun.  I also have a Honda Ridgeline, my Challenger 6.4 with the MDS system (which shuts off 4 cylinders in cruising mode on the highway) gets better mileage than my Ridgeline.

There are a bunch of 23 leftovers out there but a lot of them are the six cylinder variants with the less desirable interiors.  Still good deals to be had though on R/T standard 5.7 variants as well as ScatPacks. Even seeing Hellcat's going for a decent discount as well.

Three further thoughts:

1. Insurance can be a bit pricey (and I am in my sixth decade of life with a clean record)

2. The bigger motor variants are highly desirable to thieves (see point number 1)

3. Invest in extra security protection/devices/alarm/Lojack for the car, particularly if it must be parked outside

Otherwise, I still find it to be a big, fun, fast, comfortable cruiser, that's well-built with nary a squeak or rattle (fingers-crossed)!
