One of the first things we did, once we got our Spitfire sorted out, was to use it for a tire test. As we outlined in the March 2016 issue of Classic Motorsports, we were surprised to learn how well Coker’s classic Michelin tires did when compared to modern tires.

Indeed, the camber angles look terrifying in that photo. I love Spitfires, but I'm curious what can be done to address the swing axle geometries.

We still have this car, but haven't had much time to mess with it. We still havea some more stories planned, when we get a couple of other cars done.

Camber compensator fixes the issue in the rear, it used to be required in SCCa
