So, any cool weekend plans? I have a ton of work to do at the house, but I think I'll have some time for this Saturday morning: http://www.orlandoautomotiveclub.com/cars_and_cafe.html
I also need to run into Orlando, so I can combine errands.

In reply to David S. Wallens:
Shopping for a new used car for my wife, which I dread. Then getting stuff done because I'll be at SEMA next week.
Soccer with the kids.
Cleaning the interior floor pan on the Volvo wagon to prep it for some bed liner. Gonna roll on bed liner on the interior floor. If I hate it, I can always carpet it.
I should wash the garage floor out too.
And this year the pressure washer goes into the basement.
Last year I left it in the shed and the pipe inside the handle exploded. $70 later I ended up replacing the wand. At least its back in action.
Lesson learned.
Have two car shows on Saturday. Morning and late afternoon. Sunday watch Talladega then might drive up to Prescott. Weather is just perfect here.
Pick up the GTV 6 which no longer leaks and it only took $540 to make it stop this time. Both cam seals, a main seal and a clutch slave line replaced.
Drive the GTV 6 one last time before storing for winter. :( Very sad.
Sort through 3 Norton Motorcycles I just received in a crate, each one is in many pieces.

Hit Parts Galore for Miata/Astro/GTI odds and ends and see what interesting stuff is in the back corner of the lot. Rake leaves.Build a brake bleeder attachment for my oil extractor. Rake leaves. Bleed the GTI brakes. And maybe, I'll rake some leaves, but only after the Gran Prix. And then go ply hockey with the rest of the old guys.
Dress up as the grim reaper, scare the hell out of some kids, put the new Summers Brothers axles in the Spitfire and get it ready for my last track session next week at Limerock. rake some more leaves

I bought a new leaf blower today.
I guess there's a theme here.
I'll clean up leaves at our summer house on Saturday. On Sunday and Monday I'll be at a conference in Philly. Not my favourite thing but some of my friends are going and the hotel has a decent bar.
It's Halloween weekend and I've got a kid. Of course we've got cool plans! Haunted houses, candy, games, etc.
And car wise, I'm going to a special Triumph junkyard to play.
Bypassing the 2nd leaking heater core in the BMW (Behr and your plastic tanks, I curse you). Who needs heat in a race car anyway? Maybe a Sunday morning romp in the Mini if this craptastic weather ever clears up.
Local autocross club holds an annual halloween themed night autocross. This year it's even being held on Halloween. I plan on attempting to complete the course lit up by chem-lights. Then on Sunday, a full day of autocross. And I'm the worker nazi er I mean chief for at least the Sunday event.
Yeah it is. I've found that those that complete the course without DNF has a chance to place. Which might give me a chance.
Saturday: Work in the morning, then straight to the high school, then off to a marching band competition in CT with my daughter.'s band. (This week is easy, next week the band goes to Annapolis for another competition)Sunday: The Grand Prix in the AM, then raking or cleaning the garage so we might be able to get another car in. Two daughters abandoned loads of stuff here before recently moving to other states for work. No time to play with the Tiger this weekend.

I got to spend part of the day at the Hutchensen Island HSR race with my 84 year old Dad. He drove his Lexus to a new lap record in the track tour event! OK, maybe not, but we had a great time together with me videoing as he drove for 8 laps. We are off to the Hilton Head Concours tomorrow. We are both looking forward to it! Scott
