ok so I have been smelling anti freeze when the heat is on in my 00 nissan frontier, so i rip the dash apart to get to the heater core, I dont see a leak, so I pressurize the system up to 15lbs and let it set for a day. No leaks anywhere and its holding 15lbs. I put it all back together, and still have the smell.

So do I replace core even though I dont see a leak, is that enough pressure to find a leak? do I throw some stop leak in there and hope for the best.

Dont really feel like ripping it apart and spending 200 for a new core. but need it fixed. do just go for it and assume its the core?
