Can see the leak here. Is that an o-ring fitting? What do we need to order for that? What should wr do while we are in there?

Looks like intake gasket is seeping oil. The oil comes from the PCV system.
If it's not setting lean codes when cold or misfiring and setting lean codes, indicating that the gasket has failed, I'd leave well enough alone until it is time to replace the plugs. GM really draped the wiring harness and a lot of other things over the intake, the fewer times you unplug and reconnect things, the better life is.
Huh. I'm not seeing what you are seeing then.
The intake manifold passes no coolant. The heads seal to coolant through a face O ring and a press in O ring to the coolant outlet that the upper radiator hose attaches to. If that helps orient your eyeballing process.
That hose, IIRC, is the bleed that runs to the hardline to the coolant tank on the other side of the car. Fuzzy memory says that it is a quick connect coupling, but fuzzy memory is fuzzy. I see a squeeze clamp so memory is probably wrong.
Of course it's all buried under the power steering reservoir...
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
Any thoughts on replacing water pump amd thermostat while the system is open?
In reply to Mr_Asa :
I have never seen a water pump fail on one of these, to be honest. Not saying it can't, but they generally outlast the timing chains, at which point I replace it as part of that service.
I have seen one thermostat, and it's on the other side of the engine. If the engine has been overheated (like warning lights, running on three cylinders while bank switching Overheated) it's not a bad idea to replace the thermostat.
The thermostat I replaced was on a CTS4, I imagine that it's far easier to access in a transverse application
