Dang, you're good! There ARE A/C vent thingies under the dash! I hadn't put teh two together. it's hard to get something by the knowledgable GRM folks!

I'll check on the nasty cat thing.

About A/C on that car: you can see the receiver-drier in the passenger front corner of the engine compartment.

Update on this find. The property owner's daughter claims that it's "her baby", and wants to come get it.. this after leaving it sitting there for 15 years! My stance is that if she's gonna move it to some other God-forsaken storage for 15 years, she'd be better off handing it off to someone who could appreciate it. I intend to fight for this one. Film at 11... wish me luck.

yea, the cats on fiats are not the monolithic cores like we see in modern converters. They are "pelletized" and once they overheat and get old, break up, go through and clog up the exhaust, and eventually get spit out the tailpipe. I know, this happened to a friend of mine. Her spider was running increasingly bad until one day it spit a chunk of cat out.. right onto her foot.

Good luck with getting the spider out from under her. Guess you could put a lien on it in leu of being paid for the property
