Got a chance to look/buy an '86 orignal owner, MR2. I've wanted one for a long time but timing is bad. Subaru Forester XT is needing a new turbo and I just bought an '05 Civic for daily use. Still I've got to check it out right?

Not the one on CASC but somebody who knows somebody (sounds fishy I know) in PMSC. Waiting to see some pics tomorrow. This one is daily driven or was until the exhaust needed repairing.

Yes, tell me more about the Mini. I was giving this one some serious thought, even selling the Mustang for it.

The mini sounds like a great deal,I know the guy that's selling it and he's a good guy-MW on here Mike Wolf by name.If I hadn't already made some serious $$ commitments with the Miata I bought I'd be very seriously looking at the mini.Would be wicked good fun with my R1 engine jammed at either end(the back and rwd preferably)
matrix garage manifold + GT86 turbo + MSpnp + air/water intercooler (ie. frozenboost) = awesome.
Even if you have a regular 4age engine, keep psi around 7 and you will have like 220whp there is a basemap for this on the mspnp site.

My MR2 was a pit that sucked way too much of my time and money. I loved every bit of it and would do it again. Zero regrets other than having to sell it.
1 owner or 10 owners rust is the real issue with these cars. Rust free = YOU MUST GET IT!!!!!
We raced them for years and there are a lot of tricks to make them go, stop and handel really well. Ohya and the seats in them are probably the best factory seat I have ever sat in. If I could find a set of black ones I would consider putting them in my 924s
Get the AW11. Mine should be back from the mechanics soon, right before the first autocross of the season.
Got some info. The car has 1,220,000km's and I still want it...but might be sold.
I missed it, sold today. A friend got it so at least I can get a test run around the cones, maybe.

I'll be running the Fox body blue Mustang again this year, with some fairly worn RS-3's. Can't wait to arrive and drive and not waste time switching tires at the track. See you then.
