So I ordered a new master from twosrus.com and need a slave. Question: whats the difference (aside from price) in these on rockauto.com (it's a screenshot)? [/URL]

The difference may be nothing at all or a lot. Some might be new, some might be reman. I am avoiding reman whenever possible in these type of things after several bad experiences. Also, whenever I do clutch hydraulics, I'm swapping it over to DoT 5 fluid.

So, it comes down to "Do you feel lucky....?"

I've even noticed quite a bit of quality variance even within the same brand (but different parts/applications). I thought Beck/Arnley had good stuff consistently until I bought their plug wires (for my AW11 as it happens). They were complete garbage and didn't even fit. Luckily Rockauto refunded me the money and just had me keep the wires (I hate shipping for some reason).

That said, I tend to stick to the OEM suppliers like AC Delco. The difference in price is usually not worth the potential headache from getting a crap part.

Thanks for the responses guys.

Dr. Hess where would you suggest I get the part from? I looked on the AC Delco site and it shows the part but all the parts dealers I've called say the part will have to be ordered and they don't know where it will be made (which sounds like it won't be an AC Delco part).

I usually just get the part from O'Reilly's. It's there in a day or two and has a lifetime warranty (usually.) And I can bring it back if/when it is a POS. I seriously doubt Toyota sourced that from AC Delco. On your screenshot, if it was me, I'd go with either the Dorman, Valeo or Bendix ones. How much are they at O'Reilly's?

$24.99 at O'Reilly's. Based on your suggestions I bought it. Thank you for the help, greatly appreciated.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean to imply they supplied to Toyota. They are a GM supplier. When I can't my car's oem manufacturer I usually go with another.

Interesting to me that you think that the others are better. Not trying to argue, just hasn't been my experience. It all seems like a crap shoot to me sometimes anyway.
