So changed out the poopland coilovers, but to get everything out I had to cut the end links off (perhaps some will recall my @#$%$#@$ rust thread...).
Not realizing that all four corners of the car have different end links, how does one determine which is which? The particular orientation?
If the links don't fit, I must acquit?
Help!
Went through some of this and learned the hardway if you go through RockAuto for Miata end links, the listings are backwards on the web page. The left rear is actually the right rear and vice versa. I only needed one and went through 3 before I was smart enough to try ordering the other side and got what I needed.
Left and right is easy, they'll simply be backwards if you get them mixed up. Front vs rear, the difference is probably length but I must admit I've never paid that much attention.
Went out and played with them on the car, I'm fairly certain it's impossible to install them out of place.
The angles to the sway bars and control arm attacment points are all "one direction" (isn't that a "boy band"? I digress. Badly...), so I think I'm fine.
To install them "backwards" would take quite a bit of doing.
If in a few weeks I post up that I snapped off all my end links at the autocross, you'll know I was wrong.
