I love the stock bodywork but the fat fenders on the Trans-Am cars with huge fat slicks make me picture big lurid slides with a 2.0L dual spark shrieking.

I've done the Alfa and the 2002...and wanting a 510. So far, I like the 2002 the best because it fits me better.
for me, the order of preference is
Learned to drive in the wagon version of the 510. Always wanted a 2002. Do like the GTV and it is on the list. And the more I learn about them the more I want an Alfa. I do have a couple friends with 2002's, one is the original owner of a 76 he bought in Germany and still has. On it's 3rd engine and has approching 400,000 on the car. So for no particular reason other than I like them, I think I would choose the 2002. The GTV may be faster and the 510 maybe more reliable but that would be my preference. Although I wouldn't turn any of them down and they are all on the wish list. The nickel-dime has to be in BRE/Sharp trim though. Did consider getting a 2002 a short while back but a full garage and plans for setting up the Miata for track use took precedence.
The Alfa. The others are very nice but the Alfa just looks right somehow. They certainly nailed the styling.

With Pete Brock writing for CM, it would be really cool if he would build an updated version of the cars he put ont he map!
