2003 Ford Expedition, 4.6 2wd, has a complete lack of torque, changed fuel filter, air filter, trans fluid and filter, oil change etc. Plugs on the way, O2 sensor on the way but...
I am feeling the catalytic converter is plugged
Symptoms, can't pull the skin off warm glass of milk, idles and revs fine in neutral, kicks down on a hill and nothing, has a significant miss under load
Though not related to your problem, if you're lining up parts, get a coil pack or two headed your way.
Ours would cook one of the set off on a pretty regular basis.
A good way to temporarily diagnose cats is to pull the upstream O2 sensors and see if it improves a little bit. You'll get a CEL, obviously, but it's a way to temporarily add flow.
OK, have extra coil on plugs on hand, a good idea on the O2 sensor though
