Yes? No?
4cyl is definately (2.4L), the Delta V6 I can't remember. It was suck a rabid pile of poo I remember wishing they would be but that doesn't make it so.
YES! sorry... I know I should hide my enthusiasm for another dead Delta... but it's really hard! If ever an engine deserved to die a catastrophic, metal crunching death, they do.
I literally just did a timing belt on a 2005 sonata 2.7 today and i thought it was actually a pretty easy job! Room between the front of the engine and the framerail is unusually good, and it was a fairly straightforward procedure. About the only thing that wasnt immediately obvious is that if you are replacing the tensioner and idler pullies along with the water pump, you will want to bolt up the new water pump before either of those pullies. I would call it unusually easy for a dohc tansverse v6 fwd..
