Photos of the Hello Kitty Car being painted.
Yes, you can paint a car in your garage. (a dirty garage in this case.)
Since I've had classic Mustangs with the Pony interior,
I call it the Pony Exterior.
The current issue has an artlcle about applying printed plastic. We did it Old School. (And ours can be buffed out if it gets dull. :)

Very nice!
Any specs on the car's setup & how it did?
Thanks. It won the drag race against that BMW. :-)
The car came in 12th overall. We are told it did well.... for a Mustang.
V-6 car with Cold air intake, Computer chip, under-drive pulleys, better exhaust, and Nitrous and slicks for the drags. It ran a 14.3x in the drags; that's about 3 seconds off the stock drag time. 16th in autocross. 14th in Concourse.
For the autocross portion we had V-710s (old but usable) on factory 17" rims, and the standard Mustang suspension upgrades. (8.8 posi rear with 3.73 gears, lowering spings, Sub-frame connectors, front and rear sway bars, adjustable rear shocks, Export brace, and Steeda long ball joints because of the lowering.) Oh, and we put in a ton of front camber to get it to turn.
We worked a deal to sell it during the drags, and arrived home with an empty trailer. Colour us happy.
We found it in an Ad on a racing forum that said the prior owner had started to set it up for autocross, but it was currently not running. It had also been hit on Both sides, and the top had been re-painted..... Badly. (I washed off the re-paint with thinner.) So we had to re-paint it.
