Now that the Challenge dialogue has entered a new phase, I guess we're good for a new thread.
Of course, the juicy photo and video updates will go to THIS PAGE, but you can't beat the message board for dialogue.
Registration is well underway, and the teams are milling about with fresh pizza and beverages of all flavors. Some are inside, but most are out in the parking lot sizing up their competition. There are several in attendance that have already proven they're contenders, and some new faces and teams that are ready to prove themselves.
On my first spin through the lot, I saw at least one LeMons/Chumpcar veteran and 2 previous BABE entrants. I'm working on uploading a new batch of photos now, but hotel WiFi is giving me fits. Keep your eyes peeled for a fresh update soon!
i know i talked to old tin about about hour ago and he was 20 miles out side of town with his bimmer 5 seires. you have to post a pic of what andy brought to see just what is going to win the drags...

The Jeep is really intriguing
This thread needs more updates!!!!
There are fresh updates on the page.
Clicky clicky...
More soon. I'm running back and forth from the activities to the media center, uploading photos, crunching video, and posting all at once so please bear with me.
The concours is well underway, and it sounds like the teams are starting to line up for the autocross. More soon!
Is anyone running a reference car at either the autocross or drag race this year? It would be nice to see some relative performance as well as who wins.

Was thinking the same thing. Especially since she hadn't been posting updates. Good thing she made it.

I'll be the nasty dissenter- come on, Tom- I thought you had a bunch of i-moblile stuff to post things remotely. I was expecting live video from your camera at all times, twitter feeds as you wander around, I WANT MY LIVE UPDATES. AT ALL times.
Thanks for the coverage.

needs moar yugo. JP flavor.
I smell a BMW revolution: the box-flare E30 is awesome, and the Isetta-alien-thing is superfreak. I can't wait to learn more about it!

Yep, DollRaves is here and ready for competition, as well as a twin-engined Scirrocco. I've got video of the Durocco coming soon. (Yes, it's awesome.)
If you're biting your nails, you will find our videos on YouTube and/or Streetfire first, since I embed from those sites. I need four more hands and two more keyboards to really do this efficiently.
Too much good stuff to recount just yet, still collecting, can't analyze well yet. May fry my own head gasket, need to eat, but here's what I've seen that really sticks out.
Condor Speed Shop / DirtE30 have stepped up their game tremendously. Car looks incredible, can't wait to see it autocross.
Wreck Racing have just posted FTD at the autocross. Third time is the charm for Ga. Tech?
Superturd has returned.
Team Westside has 2x the driving wheels in their Dodge Colt. It ran 12s with FWD, what will happen with AWD?
Johnny Pruitt is in attendance. The Yugo looks better than ever.
The Isetta is mindblowing.
The Dodge boys have returned with a K-car. Looks immaculate, will undoubtedly be fast.
More soon...
Oh, and thanks for the kind words!

This sounds like a job for a highschool kid. Tommy would have been perfect. Around here the farm kids get out of school for harvest time maybe Tommy should be pulled for the company business busy season.

Durocco FTW!
I have seen it in its raw state but I need a glimps of the finished product. Keep in mind Durocco is not a team but rather one man's build.

first in car video- Aussie SMG's crazy S-10.
Who was driving? Hotshoe or owner?
And it sure seems like a HP course...
