Thanks for putting this up, this (and a few other things) made me decide to start doing a writeup for our $2010 build. Hopefully if I can get some hosting issues worked out soon I'll have a running log going too.

Having seen the Nelson Werks personally I can vouch for the fact that it's their own little museum to their accomplishments. Most of the cars they have previously built are still housed on the premises.

Yea most of them are sitting in our barns. Althoughthis car when finished is going to be my high school driver oh and If the Volvo has a LS series engine I might consider it.

Oddly enough, the original dealership isn't far from my condo in Philly... small world... Assuming both of our cars survive the challenge, is there any interest in a trade for a Swedish sedan in October? Good Luck tb

Don't worry I keep trying to update our progress the day we made that progress, so if it wasn't updated we probably didn't do work on it

That's COOL. Looks to be a later model lark. Can you believe studebaker used the same frame on their cars from the '50's til '84 when they stopped production? This picture looks like about the ride heighth our lark is going to be.

You can thank spin out for putting it up. And if your trying to build a website, I would reccomend www.yola.com because it's easy to use and free.

Thanks, I'll have to look into that. Right now, though, I'm working on getting A&M to host a site for us.

Holy crap that's an old Keenan sticker! Keenan is still around, I worked at the dealership right across the street from their Honda dealership for a couple years. Very interesting. Cool project, too.

Better than my second time. 4" angle grinder will make it look fine. Use a flap disc. Be careful, those are dangerous tools.

My first on the road car was a '62 Lark w/ 289 Packard. I can't tell you how many Mustangs were surprised by the Box. Before I was done with it it sported the 4bbl, four speed and twin traction from a Hawk that a friend wrecked. Thanks Calvin.....now I'm pining away for my old Lark. It went like stink, but couldn't stop! Looking forward to watching the progress.......

It's been a while since ive posted any progress. That's because we haven't done any work on it. We had to switch from the lark out for our other studebaker that we land speed race, but don't worry we'll get back to it this summer.
