Just because I'm a nice guy...and I like to see others stress out...I wanted to let all you $2011 Challengers know that there is approximately
10 DAYS : 8 HOURS : 15 MINUTES
Remaining until Registration opens.
No pressure...I'm sure your car will fire up soon, right? It is probably just a bad ground...you should check them all again. HAVE FUN!
Fired mine for the first time yesterday! First time I've heard it run so it was nice to know the hulk I pulled from the weeds actually works. Now that this stage has been met I have a serious amount of work to do. Can't wait till it actually turns a wheel in anger.
Mine moves up and down the driveway just fine. I have no idea if gears 2-4 work right, but I'm assuming they do. The car gets painted Wednesday, and I scuffed and washed it last night, so its hiding in the garage until paint. Guess I'll find out how it does on the road on Thursday. Then it goes on the trailer on Saturday.
My main goals are to not DNF, and to have a car thats painted all one color, instead of the 4-5 colors it is now.
Hauled our car to Atco Raceway to make some shake down passes on the drag strip. Arrived to find the gates closed and a lot of ticked off people waiting. Turns out they closed the track due to rainy weather... except it didn't rain a drop all day. We'll try again tomorrow. If not then it's a sign from God that Challenge cars aren't meant to be tested ahead of time.

Drive mine around the block for the first time yesterday.
A long list of stuff to complete sorting the car. Getting closer. I have 9 days until I start the tow to FL.

Hey, what’s the count down till the Jeep has to be ready for the autocross next month?
With the new exhaust Uranus will be running faster and lower. We're giving Uranus a nose job. It now has 4 shocks on the rear, that's right, if 2 used ones don't work that good, put on 4 used ones....

Joke's on you, there aren't even any wires in the chassis right now! Ha!
Wait...
I went a purchased one over the weekend just so I can come play.
and it runs
Detailing Mine all this week.Tweaking a few things then loading it on the trailer Weds.See ya all soon!
The final paint went on our TR7 this weekend. I'm sanding and buffing tonight. Then the detailing and assembly begins. It looks like our testing will be driving it onto the trailer. She is cute and loud, so I've met my personal goal for $2011. :)
(Um... I mean He is bad arsed and roars. Yeah, that's what I meant.)

Turned over the motor tonight for the first time since tearing it down. Had to prime the oil pump with the shop vac, but she's moving oil of her own accord.
Drove mine for the first time in almost two years today. There's some whining noise in the front, can't tell if it's a bearing, belt, or something else. Oh and the exhaust clunks against the floorpan, and sits low enough it'll probably ground out on the ax course. Maybe we'll get those figured out, maybe not, it goes on the trailer Saturday morning.
6 DAYS : 8 HOURS : 38 MINUTES
I really wish I was going...

I lol'd at the irony of your screen name.
We've been pleasantly surprised when we were able to load ours onto the trailer under its own power Thursday moring. Testing just means more opportunities for stuff to break.
I'll be traveling 400 miles to have coctails with you psychos on Saturday.
