Great event. Dropped dad off now home in bed. Only had 1 flat on the trailer.

I was back in Dexter at 10:15. 70% of the trip was in the rain. Good news is cops don't appear to like handing out tickets when it's pouring. I came to the conclusion that MINIs, c/w Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires make damned good road trip cars in inclement weather.
It was a great event . Loved meeting everyone, including SVRex the car thief. I'll be back next year, hopefully with my own car to play.
It was great seeing everyone again this year, and meeting new folks too! Hope all got home safe.
Now it's back to work...

Yup, it was. I ran cruise control and stayed out of trouble....there was one point a little above the turnpike where there were three cars pulled over within sight of each other. (two southbound, one north)
Loaded truck and trailer meant I had cruise set right at 70 so no issues for me. I was running WAZE though and it showed what looked like a shifting radar trap setup between G'ville and Ocala. BTW Joey, sorry we never got to talk/meet. We'll have to do that West Central Board get together soon. Lots of teams from this area.
I went up a few exits then moved the donut tire to rear axel. It's weight rating is only 200lbs less than the regular tire.
This was my first Challenge and I could not have enjoyed it more! Thanks to everyone who hung in there with the schedule changes and enduring the weather. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
Since I don't work any more that part doesn't suck, but it was considerably warmer in Gainesville than it is here. That sucks a little.
