Well, if I had a garage.
This car is a serious riot, hopefully it's white color will keep me under the police's radar, because I've been driving like a hooligan.

Congrats, they are silly amounts of fun and I still second guess trading my 08.5 to this day.
Get a RMM, a twm short shifter, and an access port as the 1st 3 mods then go from there.
The gunmetal rims and black accented mirrors won me over. I got it "used" with 8k miles. I need to get a better picture of it, it's the only car I've had in a while that I can't wait to jump in and drive.
I'm thinking RMM and Whiteline rear sway and drive the snot out of it. Only thing it's missing ..... a temperature gauge.
Cool! Especially since the camera angle hides the grin. (Sorry!) No seriously, those are great fun to drive and wonderful cars.

I actually have always loved the front end, after you drive it you realize it's not a happy grin so much as it's a maniac's grin. :D
Between it's silly happy face and it's ridiculous hood scoop I have always had a thing for it. Also, unlike nearly ever other current hot hatch (I can't think of one besides the Civic Si, and it's not a hatch), it has a real LSD.
Apparently you'd better keep it under 45. Great ride, almost bought one when the first Gen came out but my credit wouldn't allow it.
In reply to pinchvalve: Coastal Route-1, it's a really fun drive when it's not clogged, I stay at reasonable speeds on the road, usually just 5 over. The only place I've gotten into it fully is the tunnel on the way out there, night, no cars behind, stopped at the end and floored with TC off. If you're not grinning when you drive one of these, you're dead (or stuck in traffic).
Nice! I was so ticked when I got mine in 2010 that white wasn't an option.
I really dug mine as well. Always a blast to drive.
Love the white also! Funny thing as I went by and test drove a sonic today and it stunk ! No really what happened to the new car smell ? That and my foot kept getting stuck between the gas/ break pedal. Then I spotted a 07 ms3 on the lot. What a hoot ! Salesman was not to happy with the burn out speed shifts test drive !!

Highway 1 is a nice ride. Have you tried Skyline Blvd (35) going south from 92 down south to either 84 or all the way to Saratoga/Santa Cruz? You will occasionally get caught behind people, but at the right time of day a real fun drive.
I would love to have that same car. I love the white with the black/charcoal accents. Looks like a storm trooper to me. Do they still have the crazy tech package on these things, that adds like $2500 to the price? I looked at one a few years ago new, and it had that package, but I didn't care for it. I just wanted the simple sport model, but they didn't have one.
In reply to GTwannaB: I have driven skyline, but not that far down, I'll have to give it a go.
In reply to Flight Service: I'm returning 25mpg, but I'm not playing nice right now.
In reply to Mazdax605: Mine was the plain "sport" package. The 2013 Interior is way nicer than the 2010-2011, it might have been already changed in 2012. There was another red with the tech package that was cheaper than this one, but I so much prefered the white one.
Cool car. I test drove a first gen Mazda 3 and I really like it. I need to drive the Mazdaspeed 3 one day.
Yeah the Speed3s are pretty quick. They've proven to be pretty reliable too. My friend has one, and he beats on it pretty hard, and it hasnt missed a beat yet. He does a good job keeping on the maintenance, but he certainly flogs the thing whenever he goes out.
76k on mine... 4 sets of tires and the only non maintenance work not covered by warranty was my rear shocks failing. While I was in there..... Coilovers happened. Been a great car. Bought new in 2007.
For those that have never driven one... Dont. You will be calling the bank as soon as you do. Happened to me.
