This one is a premium (Look at the window sticker) for 37,000 advertised.
^$4k off. Damn.
Andy Neuman wrote: They don't make a premium performance pack that I've seen. I paid just over 30,250 for my 15 GT performance package before taxes and tags. 23k miles and counting so far, no issues yet. Gearing is a little short for autocrossing in 2nd.
Yes they do. It's right on the web site.
And mapper just linked one. YOu pick premium, then add the performance pack.
GT premium pp I guess they do make the premium with the performance pack now. Maybe they didn't when I was looking in 2015
The premium is nice (I like the seats) but if I was to do it again I'd skip the premium just to save on weight. The 3.73 gears are a mixed bag. I have only hit the rev limiter once at an autocross but that is mostly because I'm still trying to adjust to going from a CSP Miata to a street tire Mustang. Next season the gearing might be more noticeable.
IMHO, the 6th Gen SS Camaro is going to dominate FS in SCCA Solo II for 2017 but the 2018 Mustang is supposed to be a healthy improvement over the 2015-2017 GTs. What that will be, I don't know yet.

They did, just on the previous gen Coyote cars it was called the "Track Pack"

I don't care so much about that as I do having a ridiculously fun, over the top street car that could handle the occasional autoX or HPDE without fear of it blowing up.
Like the BRZ.

Yeah but I can get base V6's sub 20K right now I think, At least I have seen no content manuals that low online.

New or used? I looked on cargurus and found a few 2.0 turbos for $18k new which seems like a screaming deal. A sub $20k new v6 might have me making plans. If it's an rs I would be buying it tomorrow. I was on the verge of picking up a like new 2013 v6 mustang convertible for $14k.

I've driven plenty of them through work (and no, that does not mean I am a GM fanboy, I actually tend to be a very harsh critic of them) and the visibility is just fine, and I'm 6'3". The first 15 minutes of ever driving one is a little jarring, but once you spend a while in one you get over it and realize that it isn't that bad. Between the side mirrors, inside mirror and backup camera you can see just fine.
Yeah, because the guy who had complaints and compliments about his car of choice AND it's competition has a "nitpick" over a safety issue. And one that is common and admitted by GM.
I gave it's props and stated it's negatives. Don't be grumpy because 90% of the planet agrees the Camaro is hard to see out of.

Definitely can find a few 2016 v6 mustangs for under 20k, I couldn't locate a 2016 v6 Camaro for that number. There were a few leftover 2015 Camaros.

More like 90% heard one guy say it, and are now repeating it ad nauseum.

Like in the other thread saying a 2013 V6 Mustang is 200hp.
Tone down your fanboi-ism, your bias makes your opinion worth less than it should be.

I edited that, small iPhone keyboards being what they are. But thanks, I guess.
Keep in mind. I'm just waiting to see if I get the new job I'm interviewing for, and if I do, it's going to be a foregone conclusion on getting a new 1LE Camaro.

Whatever lets you justify to yourself ignoring what everyone else says.
I guess I really need to decide if it's worth the extra $$$ for the 1LE package.
Or if I'm really only going to be track the car once in awhile if I'd rather spend the cash on the nicer amenities and have cheaper consumables.
In reply to z31maniac:
PSST, PSSSTTTTTT.
At those prices you can get a really gently used Vette Stngray or a Focus RS (and have money for all the Mountune goodies)
Both lap VIR faster than the Camaro V6.
I don't really like the styling of the C7s. Focus RS is a maybe.
But I miss the rumble of a V8 with a nice exhaust.

One appealing thing about the Camaro SS is all the fluid coolers if I do the occasional track day with it.
