My 17 Yukon (wife's daily) needs brakes on all 4 corners. Yesterday on her way back from Indy, she noticed it acting different. Long story short, it has either a bad caliper or brake line causing the pads not to release. I will change both front lines and calipers. Also it has pulsating rotors at least one on each end.

I was looking at the Powerstop z36 kit from summit for about $1000 that comes with front and rear calipers, rotors and pads. I'll just need to buy the 2 new front lines.

Anyone know it there are any better deals out there for this application?

Using Powerstop OE replacement rotors and pads is the easy button.

Her "acting different" condition is probably caliper bind. You will likely be into rebuilt calipers or at least a hardware kit to resolve that. Investing in good stainless hoses can help but I don't think it's the actual problem.

We put Power Stop Z26 Rotors and Pads all the way around the Wife's RAV4, still in the break in period, but seems like a good deal / plan.

Pretty sure I've got the Z36 pads on my GMT400 and GMT800. Been a minute since I did them, but they have both been working well and would buy again.

You guys were right! Right front and left rear caliper brackets had frozen pins. I had to buy a new left rear cal bracket... Could'nt get the pin out even using a torch. The slides the pads set in were also all gunked up.

Rotors turned, all new hardware, lubed with syl-glide and the z36 powerstop pads...all working great now.

Thanks for the replies

glad you got it fixed cheaper than buying all new calipers and went through the work of replacing lines.
