There was a meeting of the minds on Sunday that included rallycross scheduling, and bacon at Frisch's. Here's what we came up with:
2018 Ohio Valley and Western Ohio Region SCCA RallyCross Season Schedule
ALL events held at Bitzer's Farm unless noted. ( 1697 Upper Twin Road, Greenfield, OH 45123 )
April 21 - OVR/WOR PE1 - hosted by OVR (rain delay)
May 20 - OVR/WOR PE2 - hosted by OVR Ross County Fairgrounds, after the SOFR
June 9 - WOR/OVR PE3 - hosted by WOR
July TBA - OVR PE4 - hosted by OVR
Aug 18 - WOR PE4 - hosted by WOR
Sept 22/23 - OVR/WOR 2 day with dusk/night event Saturday, Sunday basic event - OVR/WOR PEs 5/6 - camping is allowed.
SCCA DirtFish RallyCross National Championship - Oct 12-14, Indianola, Iowa
Oct 27 - WOR/OVR PE7 - hosted by WOR
Nov 10 - OVR/WOR PE8 - season finale - hosted by OVR
More info will be forthcoming regarding the July date. If you didn't know, I am the new Rallycross Chair for Western OH Region, and hope to not suck at putting events together.
The Google machine says that "said farm" is near Chillicothe while simultaneously being near nothing
In reply to Patrick :
About an hour of backroads SW of Columbus. Like, you get off of 71 shortly after you get outside of 270, and then you follow 62 to this road to that road to the other road to 41 and then up what would be an awesome hillclimb road. And then down a gravel stage of a driveway, which is interesting if it's been raining. Or there's oncoming traffic, which you can't tell because you never really have more than thirty feet of sight.
Scott has an interesting story about the time one of his cars caught fire in the driveway, during the winter, and the fire trucks got stuck...

Greenfield , Ohio is a nice little town, I'll have you know. Been there many times over the last 35 years. Easy to get to from Dayton , or points north.
Hmm, April...that should give me time to get the Neon ready, or trade it for something RWD.
Less than three months away!

The Miata has been sitting for a few months so I had to make sure it still ran.

Woo! Registered!
Apparently my scca membership didn't auto-renew last year and their renewals page is broken. I guess I'm going to have to actually talk to someone on the phone or something...
In reply to wae :
When did you convert your car to RWD?

Miles will be bringing his red NA Miata...you can both run in SR and then we will have two red Miatas in stock and two red Miatas in mod.
Registered! For some damn reason. I don't actually have a running car, as such.

it wont hurt the daily
I wouldn't be so sure about that...
i forgot to add much to that
The RX-7 IS the "daily"... I picked up a winter car to keep it from getting salt all over it since Mazdas dissolve audibly up here.
I have a goal this year: Run every event in MR, with the secondary goal of running every event in MY car in MR. I deliberately got rid of my all-conquering PF car on purpose. I deliberately bought a huge rallycross-unfriendly winter car on purpose.
Having two MR-ready cars should make this a somewhat attainable goal. But dangit the black car has to go first. I mostly got the other one for running in Detroit Region since I have slicks for it, and it has A/C, which makes the long drive there and back much more bearable.
