What's the over/under on it being canceled due to our friend Mom Nature? Seems to be a yearly thing for the first one.
In reply to Jerry :
Furthest ahead weather report I have is for Saturday the 24th, high of 37 low of 23 with light rain. So about 50/50?
April seems to be 50/50. Have had some awesome April events but then an equal number of... well, what we had last year.
March was almost always canceled.
Bumping this thread for news.
The May date and location has been finalized and announced.
May 18-19 is the Southern Ohio Forest Rally in Chillicothe with the final Super Special Stage at the grandstands of the Ross County Fairgrounds. On Sunday, May 20 we will have our 2nd rallycross points event at the same location, using as much of the special stage as possible.
Registration link on Motorsportreg will be posted soon when it is up.

This sounds interesting. Can you give me a thumbnail sketch of how this works compared to the Bitzer rallyx I am used to? Thanks
It will be very similar to that but with more competitors likely. We are going to run it as a typical rallycross event, just using a new site.

Do you know if we will still be doing the thing we discussed at Frisch's?
BTW - It's snowing right now. Might not make it to the event with teh RX-7. Would really like to because I want the car to be at 100% awesomeness with no surprises in May, specifically for that event.
(In case anyone misses it, the event at SOFR on Sunday is in place of the previously scheduled Saturday May 12 event)
Good news, everyone! I get to drive my new car up Upper Twin Road!
Because I sure as heck ain't driving the RX-7 anytime soon.
I hate to be glad, but I was going to have to miss it anyway. Now I can enjoy a trip to a distillery without feeling like I'm missing anything!

Dumb question: is that in addition to or in lieu of the event that's on the ovr schedule for the 12th?
Registration for May 20 is now open. This event will be capped at 60 entries.
