Me or Toyota?

It's been known since the FT-1 that this car was a joint venture with BMW. Supposedly the powerplant will also I'm in BMWs upcoming roadster.

I thought the rear end in the spy pics looked very Z4 coupe-like. Now I know why.

You missed it. Read the quote again.
Can someone photochop up this goofy thing with the front clip from the last Supra installed? I like the roofline of this new car and the proportions are generally great. It's just... the details and the headlights and it looks like puke.
They should offer the camo/wrap job as a paint color. It will match the owners affliction tshirt and tribal arm band tattoo. You feel me, bro?

I actually thought the McLaren P1 looked really good in photo camo, it really helps to show off the car's curves.
I'd just peel it off the side vents and front grille for some contrast.

Touche' I shouldn't post before coffee.
The 86 definitely does not have enough power FOR ME, so please 86 fans don't get completely butt hurt as this is just my opinion. I do hope they pull off the Supra a little better, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I don't know why everyone is getting so upset over a photoshop render and some incoherent text from a random website that simultaneously claims the car is four and six cylinders.
I'll withhold judgment until the car is formally announced.

Because Internet.

I've had a BRZ for three years. I can't wait for something I don't have to grab third on the highway to make quick mnoves.
I guess not all cars can be a home run but dam did they miss the boat on this one!!!! From the photos I saw I would fire the design team and start over. Maybe this is what happens when you mix German and Japaneses. Kind of like mixing mustered and ice cream. By them selves they are great but together??? . . . not so much.
(Yes I have tried Mustard and Ice Cream together)
So if I understand correctly...Toyota just built a funny looking Mustang? I thought the Genesis already had that market covered?
I suppose I'm in the minority, but I've seen worse. Of course I also agree that Toyota styling these days, along with Honda, is rather questionable. It seems they've gone back to '70's for their styling cues.
I'm also gonna agree here with z31maniac too, one of the reasons I sold the BRZ was lack of power. After a while it does get old, especially for a DD.

Have you SEEN a new Prius? This concept is a bar of soap in comparison.

...
really should read the whole thread before responding

In relationship to car design is "a bar of soap" a good or bad thing?

This. It'd be nice if it was four or five inches narrower, but 200hp in a small coupe is just about perfect.

Trivia: One of the first Panameras that I ever saw had a camo wrap on it. And here I thought people only did that to hide the colors of the truck they assembled from stolen cabs/beds, sort of like that line from a William Gibson novel about putting a bunch of clay on someone's wrist to look like a really E36 M3ty bracelet but at least it didn't look like a cut off handcuff, which is what the clay was hiding.
I guess it's one of those things that used to be functional, then turned into a trend by people who didn't understand its function.
REAL camouflaged trucks don't look anything like "camo paint".

Why not get the automatic? Then you wouldn't have to do any of that pesky shifting that is troubling you.

It's nice that you guys decide what is or isn't underpowered for the rest of us, but it's subjective. For me, and many others, the car needs more power. If you're happy with it good for you.
