Just curious, how many months or years ahead of time should one start working on securing a One Lap entry these days?
Entry process goes live around the end of August/September 1st, most years? This year it took about 14hours before a waitlist started? Although, I think last year was closer to 2 or 3 days?
I know some people that start checking the site for when the "Enter Online" button reactivates around the 1st of August.
One thing you could do ahead of time is setup a login on the site, that way you're not jumping through that hoop when rego goes live. I think there's also a minimum deposit Brock wants in order to reserve a spot when you sign up... dunno if that's 'fixed' minimum or if it's a % of the entry fee.
standard caveats: caveat emptor, caveat lector, ymmv, iirc, etc.
usually a $500 deposit secures your spot on the list or waitlist
