RHR and Will Buxton Join the TV team This is interesting I don't recall RHR doing much TV, but he definitely had a interesting prospective and Will Buxton would be a big land for Fox if they make it happen.

Weird article. Not sure why RHR's net worth is notable, but whatever.

I'm fine with Buxton, but if they don't also hire Hinch, we riot.

I could be wrong but is RHR's role might be what Hinch does, but Hinch I bet will get a bigger role in F1 if indycar doesn't work out. It depends if Will Buxton is what he does in the F1 coverage or Netflix. He is annoying when he goes full on Netflix, drama BS. I wasn't a huge fan of Diffey so for me anyone is a upgrade. In the booth Will Buxton, RHR, and retired indycar engineer someone like Marshal Pruett but not him, and then have Hinch on the ground similar to what Robin Miller did talking to the teams and on pitlane. It's a pipe dream, hopefully they don't throw in Jr or Danica, they are the worst.

The article says RHR will be the pit lane reporter, so theoretically the booth could be Buxton and Hinch.

I'm a bit mixed on Buxton. You need a seasoned broadcaster to do the "play by play" like Diffey did, and later Mike Lee. I thought Diffey was fine, but I'm not sure about Buxton. I think a lot of what he does on DTS is scripted, so I wouldn't necessarily blame him for all the fake drama. That's DTS's whole deal. But at the same time, I don't know that I've ever heard him do the regular play by play on a race broadcast, either.

Agreed that a "color" team of Hinch with a retired engineer would be ideal. Hinch and TBell were both drivers, so there was too much overlap, plus TBell just said really inane stuff sometimes.
