I ask this out of ignorance, is it realistic for people to DIY widen steel wheels?
15x10" is not terribly expensive here: http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/index.php/racing-wheels/challenger-series

When you are building a challenge car, $500 for wheels isn't an option.
