Bundle up! I'm going out at lunch today to get chemical heat packets and thermal underwear. Maybe a couple pairs of thermal socks, too...
Can you imagine trying to change wheels in a pitstop in that weather?
I think the worst part would be the waiting around doing nothing. Lack of activity just makes it feel colder.
Be prepared for wind. Lots of wind.
And rain. Lots of rain.
And fog. Lots of fog.
And snow. No, really.
Anyone who has competed will agree that the weather and the darkness are a significant part of what must be overcome to survive the 25.

Well, I just showed up. Had to leave early due to a massive snow storm across the I-80 Sierra Nevada pass through Truckee. It was a whiteout, but I made it safe and soun
Aparently a trucker lost a wheel chock in the middle of the interstate, but don't worry, my bumper dug it out of the snow for him. Have not assessed damate yet, but will at first light... Car drives fine...

Cold ? that ain't no stinckin' cold. 
Just come to some of our ice races if you want cold. 
The 25hrs is on my bucket list to attend, wish I could have gone this year. Hopefully next year I can make the trip.

I think 60ish. They said entries were down this year because of uncertainty surrounding United Sports Car.
