Yeah, that was my first thought, but then you have to admit that the CM forum never did recover from the re-design. Sadly, two new post over there is a big day anymore.
Glad you posted here, lot more people got to enjoy the build.
Congratulations on the rebirth! Have you considered (he said with tongue firmly in cheek) getting a licence plate frame or a bumper sticker or something that says, "Yes, it's a hemi"?
Yeah, I've been folowing you work on another forum
Looks great! I'm sure "Dart" (on that forum) has given you some encouragment (there are three SP owners on that forum).
If you click on ~This~ link, you'll see an SP250 that I race with on a regular basis. There's a photo at the top and another about 2/3 of the way down.
ANd here's ~Another One~ I saw at the Pittsburgh Vintage GP a few years ago.
Oddly, there's a guy in my town (Andover, NJ) who races one too. I've seen it on a trailer but never have been able to meet up with the guy.

That's 100% wrong. I know the stats.
I test-drove a used one in the late 60's but no way could I afford it. I am very envious. Fantastic project.
Discussing how busy (or not) the Classic site is on the Grassroots board makes no sense. Why not post a message there?
Okay, back on topic-
Silver is definitely the best color I've seen applied to a Daimler. That's downright gorgeous!
I hope you get it on the road before winter sets in. Otherwise you will be chomping at the bit all winter. Great car! I used to watch them race in the Prod classes when new.
that silver is much nicer than the grey-ish color it was originally. Are there any plans to modernize any of it like brakes or suspension? Or is it going back all original? (sorry if I missed the answer somewhere else in the thread)
You'll need to log in to post.
