Any money to be made parting these out? Have a line on an NA car with a good NA engine. Body is decent.

I think the buy in would be around $1000. I don’t know much about these cars.

You can check on eBay by looking at completed sales for used parts; add up the biggest stuff and see if you'd make anything. I've used that to good effect a few times. Here's a link for a 1992; I just guessed at the year:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/6030/i.html?_nkw=1992+mr2&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1&LH_ItemCondition=3000&_sop=16

Just make sure you account for free shipping if the items offer it, and exclude any turbo parts, etc. Looks like the dash is worth a few hundred bucks by itself and the back window's worth a bit though that would be hard to ship.

I wouldn't unless it's in spectacular condition.

I have parted one in the past.  It went well and I made at least $1000.00.  For reference I bought the car for $750.00 crashed.

The parts that you make the most money off of are the easily shipped items.  I never sold the engine, or transmission.  I ended up selling  the shell / engine to my buddy's junkyard for around $200.  Part of why i did so well is I sold the Fenders, hood and bumper to a buddy that crashed his for $500.
