It may be an April fools joke but I would purchase one!!! I am actually just about to pull the trigger on a new V6 Charger and then I saw this and got all excited.
Put one of those 300HP 6's that the mustang already has with an auto and you have a bread and butter American car. Ya everyone wants the two door with the v8 and the stick but the reality is 4 doors automatic with a 6 will sell a lot more mustangs. The only real down side is that it would be head to head with the Taurus but I think it looks worlds better than a Taurus.
Why can't we just get a Falcon? Build it on the same chassis, make the bodywork nice but not as sleek as the Mustang. Give us sedan, 2 door and wagon versions and everyone is happy. Maybe even a Ranchero? Naw, that would be way to easy.
Seeing as all of these options are available in Oz and are built by Ford. With I6, I6T and V8 engines and manual/auto check boxes as well.

now you may be onto something. If caddy can have high HP cars that can handle.. why can't we have Aussie Falcons disguised as Hot Rod Lincolns?

Read the whole article. I particularly like the upcoming GT1000!

I like where you're going with this!!!,
Lincoln needs a shot in the arm... can't always sell to old folks..

Lincoln needs to be a Caddy competitor. Otherwise, whats the point? Lincoln needs rear wheel drive and a couple of hot engine choices.

Yep - although it would likely compete more with the Fusion.
I wouldn't buy a sedan version, but a wagon version could definitely get me thinking.

exactly.. otherwise they may as well relocate all their dealers to Florida and Arizona
