so take an 86 BMW, and parts from an 03 BMW, and build a car that looks worse than either? I'm sure it will turn heads, just not towards it.
It looks like those mid-90s video games, where they'd render a car but it would be all weird and blocky cause the graphics weren't good enough yet.
That's... I don't know what to say. The E24 is probably my favorite BMW.
Here, so we can all feel better, an E24 M6:

There was a beaut of a gray 6-series sitting in Korman's showroom earlier this year when I was there. I saw a couple guys talking to Allen with GRM/Classic Motorsports shirts on. I wanted to say something, but I didn't want to bug them while they were working. I wonder what they were doing up there.
"90% of the bodywork done..."
Funny, it brought to mind "the last ten percent of the work takes ninety percent of the time."

lol make it look respectable.
God I hate people who posts their stuff at "$1" almost more then I hate the people who post the name of every car in existence at the end of their ad.

What, you have a problem with people who sell $1 CAMARO FIREBIRD chevrolet pontiac trans am FORMULA ws6 SS Z28 v8 3rd gen 4th gen F-bodys?
There's no denying that car is a head turner, my first reaction to seeing the pictures was to turn my head and hit the back button!

Only a (excuse me for a second) little bit?
Somebody abandoned one of those in front of my sister-in-law's house a few years ago. I don't know why that particular car recieves way more than its share of neglect...
This guy looks to be willing to trade for about anything. Who wouldn't be. I'd trade empty space for that monstrocity.
Interesting to find that in most cases I like the hacked up mutt cars but in this case I would say hell berkeley no.
You konw I could forgive it if it's had been a 93 front put on, that would imply that it had been done years ago when the car was just a used high end car with massive depreciation making it worthless. But the fact it's an 03 front means the errrr 'conversion' was done recently, making it a federal crime in my book for destroying a classic. Off to GitMo with the perp!!!

That was Tom Heath and I at Korman's shop. You're right, that 6er was one of the most beautiful examples I've ever seen. They were asking top dollar for it, but if you want the best......
We were up there visiting the Korman shop, learning a bit more about what they do, etc. Cool place, with a ton of incredible machinery on hand. (like the art car M1, 3.0 CSL, and all kinds of BMW goodness!)
