Does anyone recommend a particular ipod adapter for an am radio in a classic car? Ive found a few but as most of these things go, I know theres alot of junk out there.
Also, it would appear theres about two aftermarket options for wheels, unless Im missing something does anyone have a secret source for 4 lug 65 Mustang wheels?
thanks

Don't know a thing about the ipod, but Summit Racing lists over 100 choices for wheels with a 4 on 4.5" bolt pattern and a 4" backspace and 50 in 3.5" backspace. Widths range from 5"-10" and diameters run from 13"-17". Or you can ugrade to 5 lug (5 on 4.5 has a huge selection).
Here's where to start:

A buddy of mine builds and sells an adapter: http://www.rediscoveradio.com/ It's easy to install and works great.

I guess what I need to know is what is the offset and backspacing I can work with?
thanks
In reply to Murphy:
The best offset for 15x7 wheels is 4.25-4.5. By that I mean that that backspacing will allow the widest tires. The typical Torque Thrusts are 3.75" backspacing, but leave a good bit of room on the inside and limit the width of the tire you can run. Of course, the backspacing that you need depends on the diameter of the wheel and width of the tires you want to run. If you can post the sizes you want to run, I can tell you the backspacing you'll need.
There's not a lot of demand for 4 lug wheels, since the V-8 cars had 5 lug wheels. This is why you may be having a hard time finding options.

These are listed as 4x4.5 with a 0mm offset but is marked as not compatible with 65 4 lug Mustang. Shouldnt these work?

^^^ just proves that style of rim looks good on almost anything

Torque Thrusts came in 4-lug?
In reply to ReverendDexter:
I don't think so. But overall they are the most popular aftermarket wheel to put on vintage Mustangs. But the vast majority of them are 5 lug.
In reply to Murphy:
What size tires do you want to run? That will dictate the wheel size and backspacing.

Cragars and Keystones did, but they both looked terrible.
