The 80s turbo thread is one of my favorites, but the 90s has alot of cool turbo cars as well. You guys know the rules!

Ill start us off with a pair of RS's!

Plymouth Laser RS, everybody's favorite DSM.

And the Isuzu Impulse RS, which is like a 7/8th DSM.

Turbo legacy, duh :p I love them more than Impreza's, way more style/boxiness.

Turbo Firefly is up in this!

The Porsche 011 turbo has always been an icon in the turbo wars. Love them or hate them you can not deny there coolness. They have always a very fast car. I think the allure to them is that if this car is not treated with the respect it deserves it will kill you. You needed a really big set to drive the early turbos "at speed". I had to luxury of driving one and it was one of the most exciting AND probably the scariest car I had every driven up to that time. I think the respect that this car commands from the driver is part of the allure / intrigue of these things.

The 93 turbos were one of my favorite.

By 95 you start to get the laid back headlights like so.

And by 2000. Well you get this.

All great cars and obviously as you move later in the build run the performance picked up. But I still really like the classic lines of the 93. I think the 95 has the perfect balance between old and new. (probibly the one I would get if I was shopping for one) The 2000 although I like it I consider it a completely different car not really related to the 911's of the early 90's.

Bridging the 80s-90s gap was the 4th gen Civic. While not a factory turbo, the conversions were the stuff of legend in the 90's.

Still my favorite DSM:

How many stock, rust-free, 100% original Talons in this color combo do you think are out there? Is there still hope for me to find one?!?
